Ph. D. IN MUSIC EDUCATION

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3.0 undergraduate GPA
  • 3 years of teaching experience
  • Submit:
    • Case application including all post high school transcripts (check off financial aid, if interested)
    • Resume
    • Writing sample (major paper, article, masters thesis)
  • For those who pass initial application review, complete an in-person interview.

Courses in music theory, music history and applied music suited to the student’s interests and needs and approved by the music education faculty.

Study in a related field outside of music education suited to the student’s interests and needs and approved by the music education faculty.
